When I stepped into the space that day, props in hand, I felt the quiet excitement of a brand-new chapter unfolding. This was my first official photoshoot as Roussa Celebrant, and it symbolised so much: the launch of my new website, the embodiment of my vision, and the heart I bring to every ceremony I design.
The Vision
From the start, I wanted this shoot to reflect everything I believe in: warmth, connection, authenticity, and a touch of romantic elegance. The palette mirrored my brand identity — soft nude tones with turquoise and gold accents — colours that nod to the joyful, meaningful celebrations I’m honoured to lead. Hearts, wreaths, love in motion — because being a celebrant is about more than words: it’s about emotion, story, and the shared journey.
The Day in Focus
The photoshoot took place at the breathtaking Villa Shangri-La Zakynthos — a luxurious hideaway that perfectly reflects the serenity and beauty of island celebrations. Its elegant architecture and sea-kissed views set the perfect backdrop for this special day.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with the incredibly talented Veronika Maxantova, whose fine-art wedding photography captured light, mood, and authenticity so beautifully. Veronika’s natural-light style and gentle direction made the day feel relaxed and full of laughter — even when nerves crept in.
My makeup was crafted by the one and only Aimee Curry, whose artistry made me feel camera-ready, confident, and truly myself.
My hair was styled to perfection by Dionisia Manona, whose calm energy and creative touch tied the look together effortlessly.
A special thanks goes to my amazing assistant, Natasha Kostaki, who acted as both stage manager and costume designer. From outfit styling to ensuring every detail ran smoothly, Natasha brought organisation, creativity, and sparkle to the entire experience.
And, of course, to my daughter @vicmilona — my behind-the-scenes superstar — who supported me every step of the way with laughter, patience, and love.

A promise to every couple I work with: that I show up with heart, that I tell your story with depth and joy, and that I believe in the power of ceremony to mark life’s most meaningful transitions.
